Helix Strategy Center is proud to announce the Inaugural Comprehensive Women’s Health Conference. Now is the time for women and medical professionals alike to learn how to better serve the female population.
The quantitative medical standards by which women are measured is based on the studies of men. These benchmarks are not useful outside of those parameters and thus does a tremendous disservice to those women who do not measure within it, particularly as it relates to reproductive and hormonal disorders. Â
Identifying the nuances of treating women is especially imperative in a time when female bodies are being monitored, like never before. Learning more about how to more accurately identify and treat the female body will serve to end years of suffering and searching for a proper diagnosis. Â
As an extension of the Comprehensive Women’s Health program, the Conference is an event that brings together women from all walks of life to learn about the latest advances in women’s health, connect with other women, and gain the tools they need to take control of their health. This year’s virtual conference will be held on October 26, 2023, and it promises to be an event that will change lives.To bring together medical professionals and patients seeking information. The panels will examine:
- Racialized assumptions in medicine and how it affects care;
- The limited research in the links between primary and secondary conditions which contributes to misdiagnosis, late-stage diagnosis, late-stage intervention, and poorer prognosis;
- Getting a proper diagnosis with multiple symptoms; and
- New developments in bringing quality medical care to the people that need it most.
